The most effective and natural-looking solution available
We provide dental implants of the highest quality.
If you have missing teeth, there is no better way to replace them than with dental implants. They are the most effective and natural-looking solution available. At the Atlanta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, we provide dental implants of the highest quality. When you smile, your implants will blend so perfectly that they will look like your own natural teeth.
What Are Dental Implants?
A dental implant is a form of tooth replacement that mimics the anatomy of a natural tooth. An implant fixture has a stem, usually made of titanium, that is surgically placed in your jawbone. The titanium root is located below your gumline, just like a natural tooth root. During a healing period of several months, the implant and your jawbone fuse together in a process called osseointegration. Afterward, a dental crown is secured to the top of the fixture. Our cosmetic dentists provide lifelike crowns that match the color, characteristics, and translucency of your natural teeth.
The Benefits
Dental implants are beneficial for your oral health in several ways.
- When a missing tooth is replaced with an implant, it prevents other teeth from drifting toward the empty space and becoming misaligned.
- When a tooth is missing, your body resorbs the bone from the space and uses the minerals from it elsewhere in your body. If all of your teeth are missing, jawbone shrinkage results in facial collapse. Dental implants prevent jawbone shrinkage and facial collapse.
- They look, feel, and function like natural teeth. They are much more comfortable than a dental bridge or a partial denture.
- They last longer than any other form of tooth replacement. Dental implants, if done right, can last a lifetime.
Dental Implant Options

Single Implants
A single implant can be used to replace a missing tooth. If you have multiple missing teeth, each of them can be replaced with an implant.
If all of your teeth are missing, the Atlanta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry offers a range of services, including those mentioned below.
Implant Dentures
A denture can be stabilized with as few as two standard implants, but six to eight of them provide maximum stability and minimize jawbone shrinkage.
Teeth-in-a-Day
Traditional implants require a healing period of several months for your jawbone and the root forms to fuse together. After the healing period, dentures are attached to the implants. The Teeth-in-a-Day procedure immediately loads your denture onto multiple dental implants—all in the same day.
All-on-4®
If your jawbone lacks density, you might be a candidate for the All-on-4 procedure. Implants are highly angled in the anterior jawbone to compensate for the lack of density and provide added stability for your dentures without the need for bone grafting.
All–on-6®
This procedure uses six, instead of four, implants to secure your denture. It provides greater stability than All-on-4, and the additional fixtures stimulate a larger area of your jawbone to help prevent shrinkage.
Which Dental Implant Option Is Right for You?
Your medical history will be thoroughly reviewed and 3-D diagnostic studies will be performed to determine if you are a candidate for this treatment. If you are a candidate, the information gathered will help determine which options are suitable for your case. You will be informed of the best option, as well as alternatives and what you can expect from each of them.
Careful planning, placement, and techniques by a skilled oral surgeon, along with implant fixtures of the highest quality help us provide you with a successful outcome. Failure to use the best techniques and fixtures can result in serious complications or implant failure. So we don’t compromise on quality or take shortcuts.
