On-staff massage therapy
Helps you relax and reduces anxiety.

The American Dental Association strongly recommends stress-reduction techniques in the dental office, especially for patients with anxiety problems or known heart disease.
We are very pleased to have as part of our team an on-staff massage therapist. Chairside massage, as well as TMJ reflexology and myofascial release, have been proven to be effective when treating patients with dental anxiety, the pain associated with TMD (tempomandibular dysfuction), including headaches from dental and jaw pain.
Benefits of Chairside Massage
One of the most important services we offer our patients is our chairside massage therapy. Therapeutic massage for our patients not only helps you to relax and reduces your anxiety levels, but also provides many other important health benefits. It relaxes the nervous system, and increases blood circulation and joint flexibility. The psychological benefits of massage can include an improved sense of well-being, reduced stress and anxiety, and increased body awareness.
TMJ Massages
In addition to shorter complimentary sessions with our massage therapist, we offer full sessions. Full sessions last about an hour and include elimination of trigger points and tension in the jaw muscles. Intraoral massage helps increase mobility and range of motion. This works with muscles around the jaw, face, head, and intraorally to help relieve muscle spasms or pain associated with hypertonicities (muscle contraction). Trigger point therapy is very effective in people with chronic TMD.
